Fara  Sanat  Ban  Company  with  having  more  than  one  decade  activity  in  corrosion engineering  was  funded  in  2000  with  a  group  of  related  specialist,  parallel  to privatization  policies  in  Iran  and  ever  increasing  need  of  industry  to  control  the Corrosion. FSB at first considered its activities on manufacturing measurement and corrosion monitoring equipment and succeeded to make potentiostate and Corrosion measurements equipment by LPR methods. As the expectancy and studies shows, damages  of  corrosion  in  Iran  is  about  3%  -  6%  of  National  gross  production, so with  attention  to  need  of  Industries  to  Cathodic  protection  systems  (as  the  most practical  and  efficient  method  for  mitigation  with  corrosion)  with  adoption  young specialist  as the  head  Stock  Holders, invests  its  capitals  and  human  source  on  different parts of  Cathodic protection systems such as engineering and designing ,  manufacturing and  supplying  ,  producing  technical  specifications, consulting  and  troubleshooting, Installation  and  execution,  repair  and  maintenance, succeeded  to  manufacture  Al-Zn-In anodes for first time in Iran.


Nowadays FSB main activities in cathodic protection and corrosion systems are:

•    Cathodic protection of transmission and distribution pipelines
•    Cathodic protection of underground metallic structures in refineries, petrochemical complexes, power plant and compressor gas and oil stations.
•    Cathodic protection of marine structures such as quays, submarines pipelines and jetty’s platforms 
•    Cathodic protection of bottom plate of strong tanks, platforms … 
•    Cathodic protection of in reinforcement steel in concrete 
•    Design,  materials  supply  and  installing  Cathodic  protection  and  corrosion prevention systems
•    Technical inspection of Cathodic protection and  corrosion
